Look at this, two in one day! I am on a roll! So why a blog? Well, I like to write. And I like to think I do interesting things and have interesting thoughts and that folks might like to hear about what I have to say and share. That and I just like writing. This seems like as good a place as any to put it out there. So what is interesting about me? I live in the southwest corner of Washington State where it rains about 70% of the year. I just married an amazing and wonderful and fun to be around man last month . Our household consists of me, my husband, a golden retriever mutt, a lovely German Shepard and 3 funny chickens we refer to as the ladies Fern, Hazel and Scratch. And of course there is Warren, my beloved horse, but he doesn't live in the house, he lives at a boarding stable down the road a spell. Well... if you are getting technical the ladies don't live in the house either, though they would like to, but that is another story. I have a wonderful job working with local landowners protecting their natural resources and teaching them about more environmentally friendly farm practices. I do lots of riding in my spare time but also enjoy bike riding, hiking, camping and just plain hanging out with my husband. So sure there are lots of things to share and lots of things to reflect on. Might be interesting to someone. Mostly it is for my own amusement.
